The short version

Collect less. Keep less. Share less. Track less.

Website

No conventional visitor analytics

Citizens Sentry does not use advertising trackers, Meta Pixel, fingerprinting, session replay, invasive heatmaps, or persistent visitor profiles.

Video

Click-to-load YouTube

The mission-video poster is served by Citizens Sentry. YouTube is not contacted until you deliberately press Play.

Campaigns

People are not campaign material

No individual targeting, facial recognition, identity enrichment, or publication of identifying raw observations.

Website data handling

Only what the site needs.

  • Information you send: If you email Citizens Sentry, we receive the address you use and the message or attachments you choose to send.
  • Routine technical records: Hosting, delivery, and security systems may process limited records such as IP address, browser type, request time, requested page, referrer, and security events.
  • Essential technologies: WordPress may use authentication cookies for authorized administrators and limited technologies necessary for security or site operation.
  • No behavioral advertising: Citizens Sentry does not sell or rent personal information and does not use personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • No visitor accounts or payments: The site does not currently provide visitor accounts, on-site payment processing, or a public sensitive-document submission portal.

Third-party resources

No silent embeds.

YouTube

Loaded by choice

Only after Play is selected does the site load a privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com iframe. YouTube’s own terms and privacy practices then apply.

Social

Links, not trackers

Footer links open external social sites; Citizens Sentry does not place social-feed embeds or their tracking code on this website.

Fundraising

External service

Any external crowdfunding or payment service has its own privacy practices. Citizens Sentry does not embed advertising pixels from those services here.

Campaign 001 internal safeguards

Fight surveillance without recreating it.

No individual targeting

Research focuses on systems, policies, contracts, and aggregate operation.

No facial recognition

No biometric identification in campaign collection.

No identity enrichment

No attaching observations to personal profiles or dossiers.

Short retention

Routine campaign data is deleted rapidly under written rules.

Restricted access

Limited and logged access tied to the campaign question.

Responsible redaction

Public findings avoid identifying raw observations.

Legal and privacy review

No field collection before the deployment gate is satisfied.

Use, retention, and disclosure

Keep only what serves a legitimate purpose.

Information you send may be used to answer questions, evaluate proposals, respond to media requests, and continue conversations you initiate. Limited technical records may be used to deliver pages, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and investigate security events.

Records may be preserved or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, or protect rights, safety, and security. Email and operational records are retained only as long as reasonably useful for communication, documentation, security, legal obligations, or the public-interest purpose for which they were received.

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no email, website, or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, financial information, confidential legal files, identifying surveillance data, or other highly sensitive records through ordinary email.

Your choices and contact

Questions, corrections, or deletion requests.

You may ask what information you directly provided, request a correction, or ask that it be deleted. Some records may need to be retained for security, legal, archival, or documentation reasons. External sites linked from Citizens Sentry have their own privacy practices. This site is not directed to children under 13.
